Where to Post IT Jobs in Poland: What Is Actually Free and What the Paid Tiers Cost
Most guides to Polish IT job boards are written by vendors and go stale within a quarter. This one is for anyone who has to post a developer role in Poland this week: a foreign company or agency new to the market, an in-house recruiter with a budget for one posting, or a startup hiring its first junior. It compares the boards on the three things that matter before you pay. Can a normal posting go live for free, and on what condition? Roughly what does the cheapest paid tier cost? Does the board force you to publish a salary range? Prices and conditions were read from each board's own pricing or employer pages in October 2026. skillfind.tech, which publishes this page, is one of the boards compared, and its card is held to the same standard as the others.
How we checked
We opened each board's own pricing, employer or help page in October 2026 and recorded what it said that day. Prices appear here as bands rather than figures, because boards change their price lists often, and a page that quotes an exact price is wrong the week the board moves it. A band describes the cheapest tier a company can buy for a single posting, net of VAT unless the board says otherwise. Bundles, promotions and add-ons are mentioned but not priced. "Free" here means that a normal posting goes live without payment: not a trial, not a free employer profile, not a credit you have to ask for. Where a board publishes no price, the card says so. We recheck the list quarterly; if you spot a change before we do, tell us through the contact page.
IT job boards compared
At a glance, from the boards with a free option to the ones that quote on request:
- skillfind.tech: free, no condition; no paid tier; salary range optional.
- 4programmers.net: free with conditions (one posting a month, a short run, small companies, non-profits and universities only); paid from under two hundred złoty; salary range not stated.
- Solid.jobs: free for junior and internship roles if you share the posting on social media; paid from a few hundred złoty; a real salary range is required.
- RocketJobs.pl: paid only, from several hundred złoty; a general board; salary range not stated.
- Bulldogjob: paid only, from several hundred złoty; salary range optional.
- Just Join IT: paid, from around a thousand złoty; free only with a code issued by the board; salary range optional.
- No Fluff Jobs: paid only, from around a thousand złoty; salary range required.
- Pracuj.pl: paid, price calculated per posting; a first IT posting for a symbolic price for new clients; salary range optional.
- theprotocol.it: price on request; salary range optional.
- inhire.io: price on request, sold as credits; salary range not stated.
skillfind.tech
- Free option: yes, with no condition. Any business can publish a normal posting without paying; the account is created inside the posting form.
- Paid tiers: none. There is nothing to upgrade to and no promotion package; the posting form is the whole offer.
- Salary range: optional. The form has a remuneration section for B2B and employment contracts, and you can leave it empty.
- Positioning: a skill board. Every posting carries one to ten skills, each with a level (Junior, Mid, Senior or Expert), is published in English and Polish automatically, and appears on a list and on a map.
- Good for: a free third board next to a paid one, junior and niche-skill roles, companies with no budget line for job ads.
- Watch out: the site is new and small, so expect a modest flow of applications. There is no applicant tracking, no employer branding product and no guarantee of applications. It also publishes this comparison.
4programmers.net
- Free option: yes, with conditions. The first posting each month is free for companies with up to five employees, public benefit organisations and universities, and it runs for about two weeks.
- Paid tiers: a single posting for about a month costs under two hundred złoty, with view guarantees, bumps and several locations; packages of several postings cut the unit price further. Checked on the employer offer page in October 2026.
- Salary range: not stated on the offer page.
- Positioning: a long-running Polish developer forum with a job section, read by programmers rather than by the whole IT market.
- Good for: developer roles on a tiny budget, small companies that qualify for the free posting, a cheap second board.
- Watch out: the free tier is only for small employers, public benefit organisations and universities, and the help centre's older FAQ describes different packages from those on the offer page, so trust the offer page.
Solid.jobs
- Free option: yes, for Junior and internship (Staż) roles, on condition that you share the posting link on social media and agree to marketing contact. Other roles are paid.
- Paid tiers: three tiers; the standard posting costs a few hundred złoty for about a month and the top tier runs for two months. Discounts apply when you buy three or ten postings, and subscriptions are available on request. Checked on the pricing page in October 2026.
- Salary range: required. The service standards call for a real salary range in every posting.
- Positioning: an IT board with a short public price list in net prices and a free applicant tracking module for every client.
- Good for: junior and internship hiring at no cost, small software houses, QA roles (its postings are syndicated to the testers' portal testerzy.pl).
- Watch out: the free junior posting is a promotion with conditions; read them before you count on it.
RocketJobs.pl
- Free option: none. Only the employer profile is free; every posting is paid.
- Paid tiers: three tiers per posting, from several hundred złoty for about a month, with discounts for two, three or five postings bought together. Checked on the pricing page in October 2026.
- Salary range: not stated on the pricing page.
- Positioning: the general, multi-industry sister board of Just Join IT, run by the same company; it covers marketing, sales, HR and support as well as tech-adjacent roles.
- Good for: product, data, support and other roles around the engineering team; recruiters who already use the shared employer panel.
- Watch out: it is not an IT board. A pure developer role belongs on its sister site.
Bulldogjob
- Free option: none on the current pricing page, although a free employer profile exists. Free junior and internship postings were offered in past campaigns ("Start w IT" in 2022 and 2023) with a code and a limited pool, so check the employer blog for a current edition before you budget.
- Paid tiers: four tiers per posting, from several hundred złoty to a couple of thousand for the top one, each for about a month, and the cheapest tier comes with one bump and one location. Checked on the pricing page in October 2026.
- Salary range: optional. The pricing page does not mention it and secondary sources describe it as optional but recommended.
- Positioning: an IT board with a strong content side (the Readme blog and an annual report on the Polish IT community) that also sells sponsored articles to employers.
- Good for: mid and senior roles, and teams that care about employer branding and want a sponsored article next to the posting.
- Watch out: promotions appear on the employer blog rather than on the pricing page, so the price list alone does not show every option.
Just Join IT
- Free option: only with a promotional code issued by the board. The help centre describes a "publish with code" route but not who qualifies, and there is no self-service free tier.
- Paid tiers: three tiers per posting, from around a thousand złoty for about a month. Bundles of two to five postings are discounted and stay valid for several months, and prices are shown in złoty or euro. Checked on the pricing page in October 2026; the price list is hosted on the RocketJobs employer portal.
- Salary range: optional and strongly encouraged. Candidates can filter for postings that show pay.
- Positioning: calls itself the most popular IT job board in Poland. Purchase is self-service through an employer panel, with quote-based plans for larger clients.
- Good for: developer roles where reach matters more than price, companies posting several roles a quarter.
- Watch out: the pricing page lives on a different domain from the board itself, and the free junior campaigns the board has run in the past are not on the current price list, so ask the board about a code before you pay.
No Fluff Jobs
- Free option: none. Every posting is paid, and an applicant tracking module and a job report are included in the price.
- Paid tiers: four tiers per posting, from around a thousand złoty for about a month for IT roles; ads in other categories are cheaper. Bundle discounts are quoted on request and there are paid add-ons for bumps and highlights. Checked on the pricing page in October 2026.
- Salary range: required. Every posting carries a salary range, and the board makes no exception.
- Positioning: the salary-transparent IT board, strongest with experienced engineers; part of Grupa Pracuj since a deal announced in July 2026 and run as a separate brand.
- Good for: companies ready to publish pay, senior roles, teams that also hire outside IT, since the board sells those ads for less.
- Watch out: if you cannot publish a range, you cannot post here.
Pracuj.pl
- Free option: none, but companies that have never bought from Grupa Pracuj can publish their first IT posting for a symbolic price, and it appears on Pracuj.pl and theprotocol.it at once. Offers like this change, so check the employer site.
- Paid tiers: the price is calculated per posting with a calculator on the employer site; packages run for about a month and paid boosts are sold on top. Checked on the employer site in October 2026.
- Salary range: optional.
- Positioning: the largest general job board in Poland, where IT is one category among many.
- Good for: roles outside the developer niche, first-time posters who qualify for the starter offer, mass recruitment.
- Watch out: there is no public price table; you see the price only after you configure the posting.
theprotocol.it
- Free option: none.
- Paid tiers: price on request. The employer site offers an "ask for an offer" form and a consultant, and the packages include republishing on Pracuj.pl. Checked on the employer site in October 2026.
- Salary range: optional. Candidates can filter for postings with disclosed ranges.
- Positioning: Grupa Pracuj's IT board, pitched at mid and senior specialists, with a dedicated advisor who helps write and tune the ad.
- Good for: companies that already buy from Grupa Pracuj, senior roles, teams that want a consultant rather than a form.
- Watch out: there is no self-service purchase and no public price, so budget time for a sales call.
inhire.io
- Free option: none found.
- Paid tiers: price on request. Companies buy credits through an inhire assistant; one credit publishes one recruitment process, and there are four process types. Checked on the employer pages in October 2026.
- Salary range: not stated on the public pages.
- Positioning: a matching platform rather than a classic board. Candidates are matched to processes, and the employer side is sold as credits rather than postings.
- Good for: companies that hire continuously and want matching plus a human assistant.
- Watch out: no public price list and no self-service posting.
If you want one of your boards to cost nothing, add a posting for free on skillfind.tech. Pick up to ten skills with levels, add the pay line if you can, and the posting stays live for 60 days in English and Polish.
Other routes
- LinkedIn Jobs: free with conditions. You can keep one free job post open at a time, and it shows in search and to your network. Promoted posts run on a daily or total budget you set and are charged per view, so there is no fixed price; job slots on contract serve volume hiring. Details on the LinkedIn pricing page.
- Indeed: free to start. The Polish employer site invites you to add a first posting for free; sponsored postings run on a budget you set. Details on Indeed for employers.
- OLX Praca: paid. Single ads and prepaid packages are priced by category and quantity, with promotion add-ons on top, and the final price is the one shown on olx.pl and in the price list. It is a general classifieds site, so IT postings sit next to every other trade. Details on the OLX business site.
- Niche and community boards: pracujwit.pl says that using it is free and that posting is unlimited; it is small, and we could not tell how fresh its listings are. DOU.eu, the Polish edition of a Ukrainian developer community, gives every registered company a monthly allotment of free postings, with extra postings paid in euro. testerzy.pl, a QA portal, is free for past clients and for paid internship and junior offers; everyone else pays a few hundred złoty, and most of its listings are syndicated from Solid.jobs.
- Facebook groups: free. Polish groups for developers and for IT jobs accept employer posts under each group's rules; read the rules first, post once, and answer comments.
- Discord and Slack communities: free. Many Polish developer communities keep a jobs channel; the etiquette is one post per role with pay included.
- University career offices: free. Career offices (biuro karier) publish employer offers after a short review; Akademia WSB states that publication is free, and the University of Rzeszów's rules say the same and promise approval within a working day. Good for junior and internship roles; find the office of the university whose graduates you want and look for the employer form.
- Your own careers page: free. Add JobPosting structured data to each job page and it becomes eligible for the job search experience in Google; Google requires the core properties, a way to apply and the removal of expired postings. Read the JobPosting documentation.
- Aggregators and meetups: aggregators index postings from boards and careers pages, so you do not post there directly. Local meetups and conferences often have a job wall or a sponsor slot; the price is a sponsorship, not a posting fee.
Salary ranges: what the boards require and what the law says
Two boards on the list will not publish a posting without a range: No Fluff Jobs, where every ad carries one, and Solid.jobs, whose service standards require a real range. Everywhere else the range is optional, or the pages we read do not mention it (4programmers.net, RocketJobs.pl and inhire.io). Just Join IT and theprotocol.it let candidates filter for postings that show pay, which is a hint about how candidates read an ad without one.
Polish law has moved too. Since 24 December 2025 an employer recruiting for an employment contract must tell the candidate the starting pay or its range. It can go in the job advertisement; if it is not there, the candidate must be told before the interview and in any case before the employment relationship begins. The rule does not oblige you to print the range in the ad, but the ad is the simplest place to put it. It covers recruitment for employment contracts, not B2B contracts. The wider EU pay transparency directive was due in national law by June 2026; in late summer 2026 Poland's implementing act was still a draft and the ministry expected it to take effect in 2027. This is a summary, not legal advice; the HR portal HRappka explains the rules and names the act.
Junior and internship ads
Most boards treat a junior ad like any other ad. The exceptions in October 2026:
- Solid.jobs publishes junior and internship roles for free if you share the link on social media.
- 4programmers.net gives small companies, non-profits and universities one free posting a month.
- testerzy.pl waives its fee for paid internship and junior QA offers.
- DOU.eu's free monthly postings cover junior roles.
skillfind.tech is free at every level, so a junior ad costs nothing there either; set each skill to Junior level. Bulldogjob and Just Join IT have both run free junior campaigns in the past, so a quick look at their employer blogs before you post can save the fee.
A junior ad that works is short and honest. Copy this skeleton:
- Title line: role, level and mode in one line, for example "Junior Python Developer, hybrid, Kraków".
- Three lines of context: what the team builds, who the users are, what the stack looks like today.
- Must-haves, at most three: things you will test for. Everything else is a nice-to-have.
- Nice-to-haves: two or three, labelled as such, so a candidate without them still applies.
- Pay line: state the amount as "UoP gross per month" (UoP is umowa o pracę, an employment contract) or "B2B net per month", and give both if you offer both. A junior candidate reads this line first.
- Process in three steps: screening call, task or pairing session, team interview, with the expected time for each.
- Who to write to: a named person and a direct address, not a generic inbox.
On a skill-tagged form this maps cleanly. The must-haves become the listed skills, each at Junior level, and the nice-to-haves stay in the description or become extra skills. The mode and city fill the location fields, and the pay line goes into the remuneration section as a B2B rate, an employment salary or both.
Three boards in 30 minutes
Three postings beat one, because every board has its own audience, and thirty minutes is enough if you work in three blocks.
Minutes one to ten: choose the trio by budget and role.
- No budget: skillfind.tech, the LinkedIn free post, and either 4programmers.net (if you qualify for the free tier) or the Indeed free posting.
- One paid board plus two free: Just Join IT or No Fluff Jobs for reach, skillfind.tech for the free second slot, and the LinkedIn free post.
- Junior or internship: Solid.jobs on its free junior terms, skillfind.tech, and the career office of the nearest university.
- Agency hiring at volume: bundles on one or two large boards, LinkedIn job slots, and a free skillfind.tech posting for every role so the board's skill search works for you.
Minutes ten to twenty: write one master ad. Use the junior skeleton above for every level, with the pay line in both UoP and B2B form if you can. Keep the title under sixty characters, because some boards, skillfind.tech among them, cut it there.
Minutes twenty to thirty: post it three times. Paste, tag skills with levels where the board allows it, set the mode and city, attach the application link, publish. Put the three links in one note with the date.
Then, once a week: count applications per board, renew or take down what has run its course, and adjust the pay line if one board brings nothing. After the second role you will know which trio works for your market and can skip the first ten minutes.
skillfind.tech, honestly
skillfind.tech is an IT skill board run by a small Warsaw company. A posting is free, is published in English and Polish, shows on a list and on a map, and stays live for 60 days unless you delete it earlier. Candidates search by skill and level rather than by job title, which suits roles that are easier to describe by stack than by name.
It is not a large board. The audience is still being built, there are no promotion packages, no employer branding products, no applicant tracking and no guarantee of applications. It will not replace a paid posting on the board where your candidates already are.
It works as a free third board, for junior and niche-skill roles where a skill search helps, and for companies that have no budget line for job ads at all. It publishes this comparison, which is why its card above is as plain as the others.
Add a posting for free
Open the posting form, then choose up to ten skills and set a level for each. Type the position name, pick the mode (office, hybrid or remote) and the city, and add the pay line if you can. Decide whether candidates apply through the site's form or through your own link, fill in the company details and the account email, and submit. The posting stays live for 60 days and can be deleted at any time: add a posting for free.
Prices and conditions in this article were checked in October 2026 and will be rechecked quarterly. If a board has changed its terms, tell us through the contact page and we will correct the card.
